All Race Entries include :
Airport Pick up to Hotel Mega D'Aru/Send off from Hotel Mega D'Aru (Surcharge of RM120 per airport pick u applies per trip to a hotel other than Hotel Mega D'Aru), accommodation x 4 nights (5th April 2012-9th April 2012), finishers medal per competitor (adventure race and ultra 60k), logistics support throughout the three day's of competition inclusive of movement of mountain bikes and bags, bus transfers to START locations daily, bus transfers to Tambunan (race venue) and back to hotels from finish line day 3. All hotel accommodations are on a sharing/twin bed basis. All homestay's are on a sharing/twin bed basis unless specific requests made no less than 30 days from event date. All race entry fee's must be paid to/banked in to the Sabah Adventure Challenge account within 7 day's of submission of registration to confirm your slot in the 2012 race slot.

- OLO ULTRA-TRAIL RUN 60KM (OVER 2 DAYS)
Adventure Racers
For the 2012 event, there will only be only one category per event for all competitors and one designated race course. Kindly download the rules and regulations forms and mandatory kit list in the "downloads" section of the website after registering. Payments are due within 7 days upon registering on a first come first basis. All race entry fee's include 4 nights accomodation (homestay and hotel) on a twin sharing basis.
Ultra Trail Runners
Trail runners will compete on day 1 and day 2 of the race covering a race course estimated to be on average 25-30 kilometers per day. Trail runners will commence the race together with Adventure racers and compete on the same race course and are expected to be self sufficient and able to operate independently. Kindly download the rules and regulations forms and mandatory kit list in the "downloads" section of the website. All entry fees include accomodation for 4 nights (homestay and hotel) on a twin sharing basis.
Water Stations
Water stations will be set up periodically for all trail runners and adventure racers along the race course each day. All competitors will be issued a map each night the day before they compete on that race course as well as briefed on the locations of the water stations and locations where they may heat up their freeze dried meals.
It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they carry adequate/sufficient drinking water and also have adequate water bottles to ensure they are able to cover the distances required from check point to check point/water station to water station during the course of each day. The average waterstation is separated between 10km-20km and all competitors will be made aware of the location of each water station the day before each day's competition.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
The race directors reserve the right to impose mandatory rest times of 30 minutes at a designated check point during the course of the race for all competitors if necessary. The 30 minute rest period will be deducted from your total race time.
Physical Fitness
Competitors registering for the adventure race or ultra 60km trail run understand that they must be physically fit and mentally prepared for a difficult race course over the two day's and understand the risk's and associated with competing in an extreme endurance race.Some areas of the race course are not accessible to vehicles or medical teams and response times may vary according to weather, terrain and competitors.
Each runner will be timed from the START and to the time they cross the FINISH line. The total accumulated time over the two day's (ultra) or three day's (adventure race) will determine your final race time.
