Description

About : Borneo Jazz 2013, organised by Sarawak Tourism Board, aims to be the leading tourism-driven music festival in the region. By assembling regionally and internationally recognised, jazz musicians, the musical event aims to draw visitors to Miri and the Northern Region of Sarawak for a fun-filled and entertaining experience and at the same time showcasing Miri as a city of cosmopolitanism and relaxing lifestyle.

Programme
An eclectic line-up of 8 international bands playing a diverse range of jazz genres, the festival is featuring 4 different acts per night over 2 nights.

Craft Bazaar 
The Craft Bazaar is held at the same time, in the same place as the Borneo Jazz Festival, which will attract up to 9,000 visitors from all over the world! Come to Borneo Jazz, come to the Craft Bazaar as it is happening side-by-side at no charge. The Craft Bazaar will have emphasis on craftwork demonstrations, with local craftsmen and artisans displaying the local handicrafts and arts to audience of fanciers, collectors and buyers.  Please do visit the Craft Bazaar from 2.00 p.m. onwards to see exciting craft products from Sarawak, and a good opportunity to buy presents…for yourself or for friends!

Food & Village Mart
The Food & Village Mart is filled with souvenir items and international food and drinks. More than 20 stalls with an array of crafts, souvenirs and food and beverage within the region.

Borneo Jazz Store
The Borneo Jazz store is filled with Borneo Jazz merchandize. Grab yourself a souvenir t-shirt or your favourite artist CD – you can even get it signed if you want by them at the CD signings that are scheduled.
