The Comedy Club KL – Delinquent December Show

We are kicking off the last month of the year with our Delinquent December Show! It’s been a crazy year of comedy and what better way to end it with 4 totally, inappropriately frivolous acts.

        Tom Wrigglesworth

Wrigglesworth likes to take things apart to see how they work - and his approach to comedy is no different. He uses his geeky side to squeeze humour out of the mundane and would have been quite happy to continue doing something 'unfathomably complex with satellite broadcast signals' if stand-up hadn't come calling.

“Stylish one-liners and an easy ability to riff with the audience” – Chortle

        Jon Atherton (AUS)

Jonathan Atherton is one of Australia’s finest stand-up comedians. He is also an actor, television presenter, voice artist, screen writer and award winning photographer.

As a seasoned traveller, having lived and worked in Thailand, Japan, Kenya, Uganda and Indonesia- and presenter of "Lonely Planet" (Discovery Channel) and "Pilot Guides" (ABC-TV)- Atherton brings a unique global perspective to his comedy. He speaks a multitude of languages - Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Japanese, Swahili, Luganda, and German... and has a passing knowledge of Burmese Tagalog, Lao, Hindi, Batak, Urdu, Arabic, Hokkien and Mandarin.

He has performed to sell-out crowds in London, Ireland, Amsterdam, Jakarta, Thailand, Malaysia, New York and across the Australian Comedy Circuit.

“Australia’s best export since Fosters’ Lager” - London Metro

        Phoon Chi Ho

Original. Unpredictable. Daring. Phoon Chi Ho is touted as a ‘thinking man’s’ comedian, but he does not know what that means. Since this wit-wizard’s first stand-up comedy performance, Chi Ho never looked back and quickly gained recognition in Kuala Lumpur’s comedy circuit. His comedy can be compared to butter – ‘yellow’, smooth and, if taken too much, may be pernicious to one’s health.

“Sex, race and a barrel of laughs – Timeout KL

        Andrew Netto (MAL)

Andrew Netto is one of the hottest young comedians in the Malaysian circuit having considerable success in the local and international comedy scene.  He is described as the comic with more spin than a high speed turbine, with his twist and insights in the daily workings of the average Joe. His highlights are performances with comedian Ahmed Ahmed and Maz Jobrani in 2011, and mega comedian Russell Peters in 2012 in front of an audience of 8,000 people.

Augustine Dennis (GHA) (Friday Show Only)

African comedian, Augustine Dennis has been developing his act for the last year. With a strong accent and a tendency to speak slowly, enunciating every word, he barely needs to do more than open his mouth to have everyone on the floor clutching their stomachs.

“African sensation that’s rocking the nation” - Comedy Kao Kao
