#1 J. Lo Look-Alike Contest
Do people ever mistake you for being J. Lo's twin?
Ever thought you had the 'X-factor' and style to match the 'Sexiest Woman Alive' of 2011?
Whether you think you have the body, charisma or the guts to match Jennifer Lopez, or if you think you come close, now is your chance to get creative and send us your photo!
The contest is open to all - young and young at heart, male, female and everything in between - we do not discriminate, all in the name of being free, fair and fun.
Here's what you need to do:
* Submit one photo of yourself in your natural look (but not that natural!) and one of you in your best J. Lo impersonation.
* Photographs should preferably be full length, in your best pose, showing your face clearly.
Tip: The more similar the size/setting of your 'before' and 'after' photo, the easier it is to judge.
All photos must be submitted by 9am, Thursday, 8 November. Winners and finalists will be informed of the results by 14 November.
#2 ''Dance Like J. Lo' Competition
If you always find yourself inevitably grooving to a J. Lo song, spending mindless hours trying to perfect those 'deadly, sexy moves', now is the time to showcase your efforts to the world.
We're letting you take it up a notch by giving you the platform to literally get on the dance floor and bring your best Jennifer Lopez dance cover!
The contest will be conducted via video submission. Record a video of your dance and upload it to YouTube, then email us the URL link. All videos must be submitted by 9am, Thursday, 8 November. Winners and finalists will be informed of the results by 14 November.
Rules & Requirements:
* Participants can be an individual or a team of up to 5 people.
* A J. Lo song or remix must be used.
* The choreography must incorporate moves from any J. Lo song or performance.
* Style points will be taken into account.
Selected finalists will be performing LIVE at The Square at Publika at 7pm on Saturday, 17 November. The winners will be picked by an esteemed panel of judges.
