Taking cue from the positive responses of the first two showcases, Rockawayfest presents another tasteful event for the second half of the year. Rockawayfest Showcase presents Boys Like Girls and Motion City Soundtrack, live on 12 July at Neverland, Kuala Lumpur.
The third installation of the Rockawayfest Showcase series couldn't have come at a more apt time. "With the fasting month just around the corner, we thought it would be a great to host another Rockawayfest Showcase. This showcase is also to give people an appetiser before we reveal full details on Rockaway Festival 2012 later in the month," says Rahul Kukreja, Director of LIVE Events for Livescape. Expect to hear tasty and tantalizing new material with pop-punk outfit, Motion City Soundtrack's Malaysian debut following the release of their latest album, Go in June. Boys Like Girls fans also have a reason to get into frenzy as the band is set to release their new album this Fall. In conjunction with the release of their latest offering, the band will be revealing the Crazy World EP on 17 July featuring three tracks from the actual album.
Joining them on stage are The Azenders, Lab The Rat and An Honest Mistake.
