MIJF 2012 - the Malaysia's most Exclusive International Jewellery Fair is returning on 19-22 July 2012 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall 4 & 5.
In conjunction with the exhibition, MIJF proud to present the second MIJF Jewellery Design Awards 2012. Impressed by the submission of entries last year, this year the award is anticipating for more inspiring jewellery design pieces from all students of art or design schools in Malaysia and Asia. The awards comprises of four categories: necklace, earrings, bangle or brooch, and rings with the given theme "Nature of Earth".
The winners for all categories are entitled for RM3, 000 cash prizes, trophy and certificate, and the manufacturing of the winning design. As for the winner for Most Outstanding Award, which is the design most voted by the visitors of MIJF 2012, is also entitled for trophy and certificate, as well as a scholarship for 9 weeks Jewelry Design Class from GIA Thailand.
MIJF Jewellery Design Awards 2012 is now open for registration. The deadline for submission of design will fall on 31 March 2012, with the announcement of finalists at the end of April 2012.
