Description : Welcome to Taman Negara Mountain Bike Event. For Year 2012 Opening Event we present to you the TAMAN NEGARA GREEN JAMBOREE 2012 formally known as Kuala Tahan Mountain Bike Jamboree 2012. This event consists of two discipline – eco-ride and eco-race where the eco-race were devided into 3 categories as follows:
XC MAN OPEN (13-39 years old)
XC WOMAN OPEN
XC MAN MASTERS (40 years above)
The route starts from the Kuala Tahan’s main arch at Kuala Tahan- Mat Daling Junction (in front of Persona Village Resort). The route takes off from there to Kampong Pagi, makes a round trip through the village, crossing river banks and etc. The ride is an exciting experience because this is the only jamboree that uses the oldest rainforest in the world as its riding path.
Taman Negara Green Jamboree is part of the Bicycle Mania Campaign of Tourism Pahang to stimulate tourism growth through bicycle activities. Pahang Cycling Association (Persatuan Berbasikal Pahang) has take the challenge to set this event the first offroad (mountain bike) event in Pahang.
We as the Event Manager and co-sponsors would like to welcome you, fellow riders to participate with us and enjoy the scenario of Taman Negara Pahang.
Goodies consist of Sponsor’s item. other items are as follows:
Jersey (all participants)
Finisher’s Medal (for participant who finished the ride)
TNG Jamboree 2012 Certificate of Attendance (for all participant)
There will be Lucky Draw and winning prize giving for eco-race.
