Description : The Malaysian fans can expect a sizzling stage performance from Della Ding (丁噹) this April 28, 2012 at 8pm at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands. Heralded as the “Newborn Mandopop Diva”, Della Ding is particularly known for her heart melting, clear, captivating voice and spectacular range. Della, widely known as Ding Dang, kick-started her world tour concert themed <The Diva in Della> with first gig in Taipei last December which fetched tremendous response. The concert was not only a vocal prowess and great live musicianship kind of show but a spectacular visual experience of fashion of one colourful outfit after another from song to song. This concert is touted to be different from the singer’s previous soft pop ventures, saw a blend of 4 classic Broadway musicals including “Chicago”, “The Lion King”, “Rent” and “Swan Lake” as the source of inspiration throughout the whole concert. She warmed up the night and kept everyone entertained. Her singing, as usual, was flawless, especially when she hit the high notes. The amazing beautiful, emotion and clear diction will make one appreciate the words of every song.
Ding Dang is best admired for her love ballads, especially on her early records. Later she included numbers of dance song to her third album, <Night Owl> released in 2009. After a huge success with her fourth album “Fu Good“, her popularity suddenly rose like a rocket. Her hits song “Wo Ai Ta” was used as drama “Autumn’s Concerto” and even awarded the second most popular KTV song of 2010. Ticket sale will commence from January 18th, 2012 at 10am with an exclusive 15% discount extended on the first 800 tickets (exclude VVIP).
