Description : Its BACK!! The Langkawi International Mountain Bike Challenge (LIMBC) 2011 is an exhilirating five-day mountain bike race held in the scenic tropical island of Langkawi, Malaysia.

REGISTRATION : Monday, 17th October 2011

(Registration at 0800hrs to 1600hrs)

RACE : Tuesday, 18th October 2011 – Saturday, 22th October 2011

(race starts at 0900hrs daily, registration at 0800hrs)

RACE DETAILS ;

• Day 1 - 17 Oct ; RIDERS REGISTRATION & BRIEFING

• Day 2 - 18 Oct ; ROUND ISLAND, 62km

• Day 3 - 19 Oct ; KAMPUNG TOK SENIK RESORT, 7.3km/lap (max:1h 45mins)

• Day 4 - 20 Oct ; ENDURANCE, Telaga Harbour Park 8km/lap (max: 7hrs)

• Day 5 - 21 Oct ; KING OF MOUNTAIN, Kuah Town to Gunung Raya Hill Resort 42.7km

• Day 6 - 22 Oct ; KUAH TOWN CIRCUIT, 4km/lap

• Day 7 - 23 Oct ; JAMBOREE 44km

RACE CATEGORIES

i. Elite Men : Open to men aged 19 – 39 years only

ii. Elite Women : Open to women aged 19 years and above

iii. Master Men : Open to men aged 40 – 50 years only

iv. Senior Master Men : Open to men aged 51 years and above

FAST FACTS

• Listed as an official UCI race / able to gain UCI points and rankings

• International Riders Race Fees: USD$ 400 per person (includes twin sharing accommodation, transfers, and full boards meals)

• Supporters Package Fees: USD$ 300 per person (includes twin sharing accommodation, transfers, and full boards meals)

• Local Riders Race Fees: RM150 per person

• Local Riders without a valid license CANNOT PARTICIPATE in the race. An extra RM15 will be charged for a temporary license issued by MNCF that is valid during the race period only.

• International Riders without a valid international license must go to their respective National Federation and apply for one on their own accord.

• LIMITED TO1000 race admission participants to maintain personable rapport among riders and race organizers

• USD$ 130,000 worth of cash and prizes to be won!!

• Refunds and transfers will NOT be entertained.
