All Works (as defined below) submitted for the above categories must adhere to the theme and incorporate Malaysian stories such as folklore, myth, legends or Malaysian elements such as places, culture, values and history in Malaysia (“Malaysiana”).
Don't Just Play 'Break' the habit cashing in your ideas! The Creative Multimedia Department of Multimedia Development Corporation is organizing their 6th animation pitching competition this year. All companies or team of individuals/graduates are invited to pitch their idea, pre-production of their animated characters, information of the story and eventual background.
Objectives : To use this competition as a content creation platform and to create more quality contents that can be showcased or marketed globally.
To encourage and nurture new talents in turning their Ideas into reality.
To attract animation content developers to come out with greater ideas and stories.
Prizes & Regulatiaon?
The top 20 winners will be awarded with RM 50,000.00 grant each to support the development of their *3-minute sizzle animation including full character bible.
The animation must contain **“Malaysiana” theme.
Winners of the animation competition will go through a Mentorship Program with selected mentors within 6 months to assist them in producing a *3 minutes sizzle animation.
At the end of this program, selected winners will once again pitch their animation project to broadcasters at the Animation Super Pitch.
