Compete in the 2011 Prudential Astro Masters and reward yourself with a chance to participate in the grand final that will take place in exciting Red Mountain and Loch Palm golf courses in exotic Phuket island.
Golfers who sign up for the Prudential Astro Masters qualifying rounds that kick off in March will experience more excitement on some of the best courses throughout the country.
The golf courses offer wonderful challenges in the form of fast greens, elevated teeboxes, narrow fairways with plenty of water hazards coming into play. The Prudential Astro Masters, recognised as the biggest amateur tournament in Malaysia, continues to challenge golfers looking for exhilarating pleasure.
The best two golf courses in Phuket have been reserved to provide further challenges to Astro subscribers who make it through the qualifying rounds. Only the Best Gross and Best Nett performers at each round will win invitations to compete in Phuket and earn the right to be installed as champions of the Prudential Astro Masters 2011.
Eighteen qualifying rounds have been scheduled on 18 courses that include Kota Permai, Dalit Bay, Sabah Golf & Country Club, Sarawak Golf Club, Horizon Hills, Shan Shui, Clearwater Sanctuary, Bukit Jawi… the best in their respective regions.
For the second year running, there will be a cap of not more than four-under in the nett category, a move that provides a more level playing field which in turn offers more thrill in the Race to Phuket.
Exciting prizes and generous goodie bag items – for long a hallmark of the Prudential Astro Masters – await subscribers and their guests.
